Rock City Church Shalom Sunday
Phoebe visited our church to honour our Shalom Sunday, a day where we prioritize holistic wellness and mental health awareness. Phoebe
gave our ministry such a strong and impactful message. So many hearts and lives were touched and blessed by this. We know now to A.R.M ourselves amongst many other things. Thank you Phoebe…maybe you be blessed in all you do as you continue to touch and transform lives through the power of Jesus Christ.
I book I didn't know I deeply need until I read it.
I wasn’t prepared for this book, I wasn’t prepared emotionally, mentally and spiritually. This book doesn’t take pages or paragraphs or chapters for the reader to get into it. The first sentence had me hooked and I couldn’t put the book down; the only times I did put it down was to gather myself because you can’t read this book without seeing yourself and going to back to all the battles you have ever experienced as the way the author wrote this book.
This book speaks to everyone, man and woman, teenager and adults – who have struggled through the silence of their battle. Phoebe was brave enough to start, to talk and tap into what most of us don’t do. I recommend this book for every soul out there who is carrying a lot. You’re not alone and only in reading this book you will find the power of a community or rather an author who really says you aren’t alone.
Cup is filled
I purchased this book today (26 Aug 2026) after hearing you speak at a womens event She shows up. I got home cooked, showered, jumped into bed and started reading your book. Having experienced grief of my own – very recent, I understood so deeply what you were conveying through your words that are so beautifully written in this book. You not only showed girls and women that it is possible to get up again but to do so gracefully with the trust in God, the Holy Spirit and your village of support. I could not put the book down and finished reading it a few minutes ago. May God bless your business going forward, may your book, talks and engagements change lives. I love your acknowledgment of your love for Christ. In a world where you can be anything you chose to be known as a firm believer of Jesus Christ.
Inspirational
Wow,,,wow,,, every page read resonated with me. The feelings, the fear, the insecurity the lack of confidence, the hiding your voice and hiding sometimes feelings and pretending all is well.
This book is a reminder that “It’s ok to Not be okay” to be real to be genuine to be “U” yourself. And knowing that through it ALL, God is with me and has never left my side. I faced a silent battle in last year by losing my job, where i felt God where were You, why did You not fight for me, or come through when i needed You most🥹 But He has been there all the time, im not there yet, still healing, still showing up on days i feel like not showing up, i still have days wondering why it all happened? But knowing i am not forsaken even in my silent/Quiet/Hidden battles🙌🙏 Thank You Phoebe for this life changing inspirational book, may God bless you and touch lives for the better😇🙏❤️
Quiet Battles: Completion of book
What an amazing book. True to form when it got delivered one of the things my friend: Gabby wrote was that she hopes this book reminds me that I am not alone in the battles I face. The author: Phoebe had also said to me that she hopes it brings me healing and that it did.
This book has made me identify many moments in my life where beliefs were formed both knowingly and unknowingly. It has changed my perspective of all the battles I’m facing. It made me feel seen, heard and understood something that books I’ve read have rarely done before. It gave me a hope and confidence that there is always hope, that I’m not alone.
And that for me honestly is so refreshing.
I literally finished this book in tears because of how powerful and emotionally powerful this book is from the first to the last page.
Phoebe thank you so much.
You brought me so much hope and I truly can’t wait to read more of your work in the near future.
I felt seen and heard for once
I am almost done with Quiet Battles and one thing I can say is that I am actually sad about that. It has brought me so much healing. I felt seen and heard for once whilst reading this book.
This is only the beginning
Quiet Battles made me laugh, brought tears to my eyes, and touched my heart in so many ways. It is uplifting, encouraging and truly inspirational. Phoebe shares her journey with such honesty and beauty that you cannot help but be moved by it.
This book has the power to give women hope, courage and the belief that they can overcome anything. I have no doubt that this is only the beginning. Congratulations on this amazing achievement.
So intrigued, I can't put it down
This book has me so intrigued I can’t put it down.
And I’m not even a reader – in fact, I hate reading. But wow, this book is a good read. Go get your copy today.
Wow, words can’t describe how honoured I feel to share and experience your story. I’m super proud of what you’ve put out here for all women, and even men, to better understand the quiet battles we tend to face on our own. Beautiful story, and I’ve only just started. Looking forward to the end
Saved my life
I trust you are well. I was at your book launch yesterday. I couldn’t put ur book down. You were describing me in your book. The good girl that always has everyone’s back. Your book really gave me the courage to say depression isn’t the end of my story. Your book gave me the courage to finally say l am not ok.
May God bless you for giving women the language to name the silent battles. You really don’t know that u actually saved my life.
Quiet Battles, fascinating read. Self reflection
Well done, good and faithful servant. We are extremely proud of you. I encourage every woman experiencing Quiet Battles to get in contact with Phoebe Strachan and order your copy.
This book had me captivated for 2 nights. I could not put it down. I purchased a copy on Sunday, started reading it last night and just finished it. So much of the story line resonated with me.
Thank you for you raw authenticity, the honest reflection of your battles and your teachable spirit to put pen to paper for us all to share in your story.
There were moments in the book, where I just gave you the warmest virtual hugs 🫂
You are beautiful
You are worthy
You are brave
You are smart
You are talented
You are loved and most of all
You are not alone 🙏🏻💛🌻
I am not alone
This book resonated deeply with me.
I am one of those women who strives for perfection everything must be in order. I am a people-pleaser. I know what it feels like to be awake at 2 a.m., desperately begging for sleep, with tears soaking my pillow. I know the struggle of forcing myself out of bed when every part of me wants to stay there.
Quiet Battles reminded me that I am only human and that I am not alone. It reminded me that God is present in the midst of every battle I face. I do not have to carry the weight on my own; I simply need to call on Him and allow Him to carry me.
Once again, thank you, Phoebe, for courageously sharing your diary with the world. I thank the Lord for using you as a vessel to reach and touch so many Rare Gems who may be fighting their own quiet battles.
To every reader: Quiet Battles is a MUST-READ.

Courageous Woman
First, I want to applaud you for your courage and boldness in sharing your life journey to the world. I haven’t finished read the book but I am dying to read the rest of the chapters. Just listening to you on Saturday at the Brees Block Cafe, sharing some of the chapters left me speechless and in tears. So many things that I can personally relate to. I applaud you for putting it out there. My life story and it’s quiet battles are stored in the deepest place of my heart and is soaked in tears on my pillow. Only God knows my pain and my challenges. I call myself #The great pretender# I surely know how to switch personalities between being at work and being at home or around family and friends. Too ashamed of what people will say or how they will look at me. I am so used to having egg splashed in my face. Be it at work, from my closest family. Its almost like morning foundation women put on their faces. So to Quiet Battles, I want to know or would like to learn how to overcome my Quiet Battles with no fear, no self condemnation. This will surely be a challenge for me. I am a very weak link. So I am very inspired what i learnt on Saturday and would like to reach out for help.
My apologies for long review
"UP YOUR GAME" Women's Conference
An impactful part of the session was when each of us had a mirror placed on our table. Looking into it encouraged us to reflect not only on our physical appearance, but also on who we are as individuals. It created a moment of self-awareness and helped us think more deeply about our identity and how we see ourselves.
Women Empowerment: Up Your Game Conference
It was truly inspiring, the message of resilience, self-belief and personal growth resonated deeply with me. I have started reading the book Quiet Battles and the themes that were shared at the event are reflected in the book. Making the message even more impactful. It has encouraged me to keep growing both personally and professionally.
